Eye-catching 18k Gold Amethyst Tourmaline Colorful Gemstone Pin / Brooch
Presented is a gorgeous 18 karat gold and multi colored gemstone pin or brooch. The pin is done in a circular form, set with a different colored gemstone at each of six points around the pin. Starting from the 12 o'clock position, the stones are green tourmaline, pink tourmaline, blue tourmaline, garnet, citrine, and amethyst. These are all real mined-from-the-ground stones, verified by our gemologist. The face of the circle portion of the pin is done in white gold, while the stone settings are done in yellow gold, for a pleasing yet subtle contrast.
The pin is in great overall condition. The stones are securely set. The stones have some minor surface abrasions, and the garnet has a little nick to the edge of its top facet, but these things are very hard to notice without close, careful inspection. The clasp functions well and closes securely. There are no breaks and no repairs.
The pin has two stamps or hallmarks on the shaft, which are a bit distorted and hard to read, probably 18k and a maker's mark. We have tested the pin with nitric acid and guarantee it to be 18 karat gold.
The pin is about 1 1/4 inches in diameter.
This piece weighs 7.6 grams.
